Mango Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups mango puree
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons tamarind puree
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons dark jamaican rum
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cloves
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. cook for 10 minutes, cool and refrigerate in a re-sealable plastic container. this sauce will keep for at least one month in the fridge.
