Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 4 lbs apples
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup red cinnamon candies
- 3 -5 drops red food coloring
Recipe
- 1 make syrup, with the water, sugar, cinnamon candies and red food coloring.
- 2 pare and core apples (rome works for me, but can use whatever you prefer).
- 3 slice into 1/2 inch rings.
- 4 cook apple rings covered in syrup until tender.
