Orange Spice Peaches

Ingredients

• 30 ounces peaches, canned
• 1 teaspoon whole cloves
• 6 inches cinnamon sticks
• 10 whole allspice
• 1/3 cup vinegar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 orange, sliced

Recipe

• 1 drain peaches reserving 1/2 cup syrup.
• 2 put spices in cheesecloth and tie shut.
• 3 in sauce pan, combine reserved peach syrup, vinegar, sugar, orange slices, peaches and spice bag.
• 4 heat to boiling. simmer uncovered about 5 minutes.
• 5 remove spice bag. serve peach halves over sliced oranges.
