Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 grease 8 inch square pan.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl, beat egg until frothy.
- 4 beat in sugar and butter, and cream until fluffy.
- 5 add sour cream and vanilla; blend well.
- 6 sift dry ingredients together; add to sour cream mixture and blend thoroughly.
- 7 pour mixture into greased square pan.
- 8 for the topping: mix together all topping ingredients until butter is evenly incorporated.
- 9 sprinkle evenly over sour cream mixture.
- 10 bake 25-30 minutes until center springs back when touched, or when a cake tester is inserted and comes out with a few crumbs.
