Ingredients
- 1 lb pecan halves
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Recipe
- 1 beat the egg and water until frothy but not stiff.
- 2 stir in the sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- 3 add the pecans and stir well until the pecans are completely coated.
- 4 spread the nuts on a large baking sheet and bake at 200 degree fahrenheit for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- 5 remove them from the oven when dry and toasted.
- 6 when cool, store in an airtight container.
