Sugar And Spice Pecans

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Recipe

  • 1 beat the egg and water until frothy but not stiff.
  • 2 stir in the sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • 3 add the pecans and stir well until the pecans are completely coated.
  • 4 spread the nuts on a large baking sheet and bake at 200 degree fahrenheit for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • 5 remove them from the oven when dry and toasted.
  • 6 when cool, store in an airtight container.
