Perfect Microwave Oatmeal For One

Total Time: 3 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 5 ounces water
  • 1 tablespoon raisins (or other dried fruit)
  • 1 tablespoon walnut pieces (or other nuts)
  • 1 -2 dash salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 -2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional, i don't do this, but sometimes i'll add a little sugar after it's cooked, if i'm in the mo)

Recipe

  • 1 put everything into a microwave safe bowl. you need one deep enough to avoid boil-over messes.
  • 2 microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • 3 stir and eat with a little milk and a sliced half banana. yum!
