Holiday Sunshine Yams

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 14 ounces whole cranberry sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 15 ounces sliced peach halves in syrup
- 28 ounces canned yams
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 melt butter.
- 2 add whole cranberry sauce to it and cook down.
- 3 let it cook 5 minutes.
- 4 add 1 tsp of cinnamon or to taste.
- 5 add 1/3 to ½ cup brown sugar.
- 6 drain 1/3 cup of peach syrup into another dish.
- 7 add 1 tbsp cornstarch to peach syrup and stir together.
- 8 add peaches to cranberry mixture.
- 9 let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- 10 drain and add yams to pan.
- 11 let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- 12 add peach syrup/cornstarch mixture into pan.
- 13 let it simmer until it thickens.
