Turkey Cutlets Stuffed With Apples And Cranberries

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs 99% fat-free turkey breast cutlets
  • 2 medium apples
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1 medium orange
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon artificial sweetener

Recipe

  • 1 core and peel apples.
  • 2 cut into small chunks.
  • 3 combine with cranberries and a little water.
  • 4 zest orange into apples and cranberries.
  • 5 peel orange getting as much stuff off as possible.
  • 6 cut into small pieces and add to apples and cranberries.
  • 7 cook over medium heat.
  • 8 add a packet or two of splenda for taste and maybe some cinnamon.
  • 9 cook until apples are soft, but still retain their shape.
  • 10 lay out the cutlets and carefully cut a"pocket" lengthwise into each one.
  • 11 spoon cooled filling into each cutlet and seal with toothpicks.
  • 12 do not overfill.
  • 13 place in baking baking dish.
  • 14 cover with remaining apple mixture.
  • 15 bake in 350 degree oven 25 to 35 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165.
