Cinnamon Whirls

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups bisquick
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup seedless raisins (optional) or 1/4 cup nuts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425*.
  • 2 grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • 3 prepare biscuit mix as directed on package with the milk (biscuit instructions).
  • 4 roll out on lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 8 x 16 inches.
  • 5 brush with melted butter.
  • 6 combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nut or raisins (if using) and sprinkle evenly over dough.
  • 7 roll up from long side, jelly roll fashion, and press edge firmly to keep from unrolling.
  • 8 cut into 1 inch slices and place cut side up in prepared baking dish.
  • 9 bake 15 - 18 minutes.
