Cinnamon Whirls

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup seedless raisins (optional) or 1/4 cup nuts (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425*.
- 2 grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- 3 prepare biscuit mix as directed on package with the milk (biscuit instructions).
- 4 roll out on lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 8 x 16 inches.
- 5 brush with melted butter.
- 6 combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nut or raisins (if using) and sprinkle evenly over dough.
- 7 roll up from long side, jelly roll fashion, and press edge firmly to keep from unrolling.
- 8 cut into 1 inch slices and place cut side up in prepared baking dish.
- 9 bake 15 - 18 minutes.
