Holiday Wassail

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 cinnamon sticks, broken
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen raspberry concentrate
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 1 cup brandy or 1 cup rum
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 10 orange slices

Recipe

  • 1 place all spices into a spice bag. (you can make this with a double thickness of cheesecloth and string.).
  • 2 in a 4-6 quart slow cooker, add the water, juice concentrates, brandy/rum, lemon juice, sugar, and orange slices.
  • 3 place the spice bag into liquid mixture, cover, and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours (or high for 2-3 hours).
