Holiday Pecans

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2 line a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick foil; set aside.
  • 3 in small bowl, stir together sugar, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
  • 4 in medium-sized bowl, whisk egg and 1 t water until foamy.
  • 5 add pecans to bowl and stir until coated.
  • 6 pour in sugar mixture and melted butter, and stir well to combine.
  • 7 spread pecan mixture in an even layer on prepared baking sheet and bake at 300 for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 8 remove from oven and cool completely.
