Holiday Spiced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 clementine, shell of
  • 1/2 ounce crystallized ginger
  • 1 peppercorns
  • 1/16 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 tea bag
  • 1 green tea bag

Recipe

  • 1 fill up tea kettle with enough water for a pot of tea.
  • 2 peel clementine, put the shell into kettle. reserve fruit for another time.
  • 3 put crystalized ginger, peppercorn, cardamom, ground ginger, ground cinnamon and whole cloves into water.
  • 4 put kettle on high heat until it comes to a boil.
  • 5 remove from heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
  • 6 put and green tea bags into a tea pot. pour spiced water over tea until pot almost full. let steep for 5-6 minutes, or longer if you like your tea stronger.
  • 7 you could squeeze the juice from the clementine and add this to your tea aswell, for a little more flavor.
  • 8 enjoy!
