Holiday Spiced Tea

Ingredients
- 1 clementine, shell of
- 1/2 ounce crystallized ginger
- 1 peppercorns
- 1/16 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tea bag
- 1 green tea bag
Recipe
- 1 fill up tea kettle with enough water for a pot of tea.
- 2 peel clementine, put the shell into kettle. reserve fruit for another time.
- 3 put crystalized ginger, peppercorn, cardamom, ground ginger, ground cinnamon and whole cloves into water.
- 4 put kettle on high heat until it comes to a boil.
- 5 remove from heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
- 6 put and green tea bags into a tea pot. pour spiced water over tea until pot almost full. let steep for 5-6 minutes, or longer if you like your tea stronger.
- 7 you could squeeze the juice from the clementine and add this to your tea aswell, for a little more flavor.
- 8 enjoy!
