Ingredients
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 2 dashes nutmeg
- 6 cinnamon sticks (3 inch)
- 4 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 combine all of the ingredients in a large pot.
- 2 bring to a boil.
- 3 reduce heat and simmer for forty minutes.
- 4 strain out the spices if desired.
- 5 serve hot.
