Sauteed Apples

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 lbs firm crisp apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 8 pieces (golden delicious is recommended)
  • 1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 add butter to a large, deep skillet; set heat at medium.
  • 2 when the butter melts, add in the apples; turn the heat to low, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • 3 add in the sugar and cinnamon; increase heat to medium; cook, stirring often, until the apples are tender and glazed, another 10 minutes or so.
  • 4 serve hot or warm.
