Light Sugar Cinnamon Almonds

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups whole almonds
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup splenda granular
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2 line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 3 in a bowl combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • 4 in another large bowl beat egg until slightly frothy.
  • 5 stir in vanilla and salt.
  • 6 add almonds to egg mixture and toss to coat.
  • 7 then pour cinnamon sugar mixture into almonds and toss to coat.
  • 8 spread sugar coated almonds on lined baking sheet.
  • 9 bake 25 minutes; stir after 10 minutes.
  • 10 let cool and remove from pan.
