Espresso Grog

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon orange zest, cut into 12 strips
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest, cut into 12 strips
- 12 ounces espresso
- rum extract
Recipe
- 1 in a suacepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- 2 add brown sugar and spices. allow to cool (mixture can now be stored in the refidgerator till ready to use).
- 3 to serve, place one teaspoon of the mixture in the bottom of a small espresso cup.
- 4 add 1 tablespoon cream, and 1 strip of both orange and lemon zest.
- 5 add 1 oz espresso and a tiny bit (less than 1/8 tsp) of rum extract.
