Ice Cream Eggnog Punch

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 quart orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (can use more sugar for a sweeter taste, but remember the ice cream is sweet!)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 pinch clove
  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1 quart ginger ale
  • nutmeg, for sprinkling

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl whisk eggs until frothy.
  • 2 mix in orange and lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
  • 3 spoon the ice cream into a large punch bowl; stir in the egg mixture until combined.
  • 4 chill if not serving right away.
  • 5 just before serving pour in the ginger ale.
  • 6 sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
  • 7 delicious!
