Cooking Light's Caramel Pears

Total Time: 24 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 19 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 2 peeled pears, cored and cut into 1-inch wedges (bosc)
  • 2 tablespoons rum

Recipe

  • 1 combine the first 4 ingredients in a med saucepan, bring to a boil. reduce heat, simmer for 5 minutes add pears, cook until tender (abt 10 mins). pour rum into sauce pan, cook 1 minute divide pears and sauce between two dishes.
