Sugar-free Raisin Bar

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan over medium heat, cook raisins, water, margarine, cinnamon, nutmeg until margarine is melted, continue cooking for 3 minutes.
  • 2 stir together all remaining ingredients ending with flour. add to raisin mixture until well blended.
  • 3 spread in a 8-inch square baking dish that has been sprayed with pam.
  • 4 bake at 350f for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
