- 1 quart cider
- crushed ice
- 12 whole cloves
- 8 whole allspice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- salt
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in 2 quart saucepan. bring it to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. cool: refrigerate covered, several hours. just before serving, reheat slowly. strain to remove spices. serve hot in mugs or punch cups.
